Generation Infinity aims at providing seniors and older working adults with the necessary digital skills required to safely & efficiently navigate today’s digital reality. In a world of rapidly evolving digital ecosystems, seniors are left vulnerable and digitally excluded. Gen-Infinity fixes exactly that: through a series of modern classes and interactive activities in a sensitive & innovative learning platform, we empower seniors to actively engage in European digital life.
▶Activities
Through the Generation-Infinity project, we will teach not only seniors as students in the digital skills of today, but additionally train the educators themselves on how to engage with seniors through our state-of-the-art Train the Trainers framework. Our multiple events, workshops, classes and open discussions will aim at engaging all relevant stakeholders, from students to trainers to policymakers, towards the enhancement of digital life of senior & older adult citizens across Europe.
▶Impact
The Gen-Infinity project will produce a Feasibility Report on the current status-quo of problems, needs & digital competencies across European older adults & seniors. A Country Case Study booklet will contain per country data on needs & threats. Our Train the Trainers framework will train educators on how to teach our Digital Skills curriculum efficiently, through a full range of classes for senior digital skills, and our Digital Platform will offer classes & certifications freely to everyone.
