βΆObjectives
The Robo STEM Academy project aims to utilize the potential of robots and STEM methodologies as educational and edutainment platforms to meet the new educational demands and boost STEM skills and competencies of VET students, teachers, and tech-groups. The project brings together academic institutions, VET schools, extra-curricular education providers, and NGOs to create a synergy and diversity needed for creating and piloting an inclusive STEM focused educational innovation in Europe.
βΆActivities
The project will provide students and teachers with ready-made STEM projects and support tools that they can use for teaching and learning STEM subjects using robots. The team will create a web-based advanced game and jury for online international robo-STEM competitions, robo-STEM lessons and teachers toolkit, and robo-STEM edu-hub and community of practice to facilitate the educational innovations and the inclusive digital transformation in VET in BG, RO, SK and UA, and throughout the EU.
βΆImpact
The project builds upon the partners' know-how and several success stories. Its results will equip teachers, trainers, and tech-communities with high-quality, ready-to-use edutainment robo-STEM content for classroom and extracurricular activities (incl. but not limited to VET), supported by a wide peer-network, as a sustainable environment for cooperation and co-creation. The project will provide valuable know-how in robo-STEM to the target groups in the partner countries and EU, and UA and MKD.
