Summary

ETHICO aims to develop teachers' core competencies in environment and environmental ethics through an ecopedagogical approach.It includes a teacher training program, a digital-game & a research report.The project aims to promote interdisciplinary learning, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students, and contribute to the fight against climate change.It is aligned with the SDGs and the Erasmus+ program's priorities.It also focuses on fostering crosscurricular collaboration.

Objectives

Activities

Activities are as follows: Management and Implementation, Research and Needs Assessment,E-Learning Platform, Scenario Based Online Game, Learning, Training and Teaching, and Dissemination and Communication. These activities will be coordinated and overseen by a project manager who will ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, regular progress reports will be shared with stakeholders to keep them informed about the project's status and achievements.

Impact

The expected results of ETHICO:A research report on the ecopedagogical approach and its effectiveness in developing teachers' core competencies.A video-based e-learning platform for teachers to integrate environmental education into all subjects.A scenario-based digital game to teach the concepts of environment and environmental ethics.5-day LTT event in Czechia with the participation of teachers and students.Publication of an article on environmental ethics in education in scientific journals.
