Objectives

Trollpedia: Cracking the Misinforms Language Code aims to enhance media literacy and digital citizenship among Czechian, Norwegian, and Estonian students. We seek to empower youth with the skills to evaluate information critically, navigate digital media responsibly, and counteract disinformation, particularly from Russian trolls. Through international collaboration, we strive to foster a globally informed, resilient digital community ready to tackle the challenges of the modern information age.

Activities

We will implement three core activities: Trolls and Propaganda, Media Literacy, and Digital Citizenship, featuring expert-led workshops, collaborative projects, and contributions to the Trollpedia platform - an online encyclopedia targeting disinformation. These activities engage students in critical thinking, media analysis, and ethical online behavior, supported by preparatory virtual collaborations and follow-up tasks for comprehensive learning and application.

Impact

We expect to create a comprehensive, multilingual Trollpedia platform as a key result, enhancing media literacy and digital citizenship among students. The project will foster critical thinking, responsible online engagement, and a deep understanding of disinformation tactics. Additionally, we aim to strengthen international cooperation and cultural understanding, equipping a resilient, informed generation ready to navigate and positively influence the digital landscape.
