▶Objectives
The project aims to empower teachers by introducing a practical approach to enhance competencies without overhauling their current systems. Using 3D printing as a key tool, the goal is to provide hands-on and creative technology for teachers to easily integrate into their teaching processes. The focus is on improving teachers' abilities to identify 3D printing opportunities in school projects and use modelling platforms and databases.
▶Activities
The project includes: Developing a methodology in three modules: introduction to the potential of 3D printing, a detailed explanation and the creation of practical tools for teachers to integrate 3D printing into daily teaching practices Conducting STEM teacher training workshops in each partner country to introduce the methodology Implementing pilot tests in classrooms with pupils Dissemination at all levels The aim is to improve STEM education and foster innovation in 3D printing technologies
▶Impact
The outcome of the project results will have a significant impact on the competencies of involved teachers. We expect that 80% of them will gain completely new competence whereas approximately 20% will further increase and deepen their existing knowledge and skills. The outcome of dissemination activities including the multiplier events is expected to be a crucial part of the work of the partnership.
