Objectives

HealthyMindEd aims to develop a high-performing digital education ecosystem by building capacity and critical understanding of the impact of digital education on mental, physical and social health in higher education. In line with the EU-Commission's Sustainable Development Goals 3&4, LifeComp and DigiComp, and the EUniWELL2030 strategy, the project promotes the wellbeing of teachers and students in digital education through research,the creation of an online platform and policy recommendations.

Activities

Based on a sound international literature review and mixed-method study, HealthyMindEd will develop an interactive online space with practical methods and materials to create healthy digital teaching and learning environments, supported by high-quality multimedia content and collaborative space. The research informs policy recommendations on wellbeing in digital higher education.Results will be peer reviewed and disseminated via webpage,social media campaigns,webinars,final conference and EPALE.

Impact

The HealthyMindEd activities will result in a high-performing digital education ecosystem by raising awareness, building capacity and critical understanding of the impact of digital education on social, mental and physical health among HE members and leaders, empowering them to create and sustain healthy online learning environments.The interactive online space and materials will enhance teachers’ and students’ level of digital literacy, overall wellbeing, social and sustainability competencies.
