Climate education in Europe often emphasizes facts, neglecting the mental impact of the climate crisis on young adults. This approach exposes them to complex information that may induce climate anxiety. RISE UP seeks to (1) enhance HED professionals' abilities to address climate anxiety, promoting students' climate resilience, and (2) foster a transformative approach to addressing climate change by emphasizing transformative and green competences and skills.
