▶Objectives
With the prompts2teach project, we wanted to enable teachers, trainers and educational institutions in vocational education and training – especially in the hospitality industry – to use artificial intelligence as a tool for creating, structuring and reflecting on learning materials in a systematic and quality-assured manner. The aim was to develop a methodology and process chain for AI-supported course creation that combines pedagogical, technological and ethical aspects. This was intended to teach teachers to use generative AI not as a substitute, but as a didactic tool to personalise learning processes, develop materials more efficiently and promote reflection skills. At the same time, a reference curriculum was to be created that would test and document the practical application of this methodology in Moodle courses. The project thus contributes to the digital transformation of vocational education and training, the integration of AI in teaching and training, and the sustainable anchoring of innovative teaching methods in the European educational space.
