Ageism in sexuality is a usual social practice, with health carers and adult educators lacking competencies to approach sexuality, gender and diversity in elders. Ageist beliefs are themselves internalized by elders, affecting their sexual health behaviors, and so, their health. We aim to promote an inclusive care to sexuality, gender and diversity of older adults in health carers and adult educators and empower elders in advocating for their right to a quality sexual health care.
