We want to actively advance the digital transformation of agricultural vocational training. That is why we are striving to expand the competence profile of agricultural and livestock farmers in terms of the skills needed to respond to today's regional and global challenges as well as future developments and requirements of the labor market. In this way, we aim to increase the attractiveness of agricultural professions and instigate greater interest in them among trainees
▶Activities
The project team will implement the following activities to advance vocational education in agriculture: - Inform vocational training authorities and policy makers about innovative approaches in agricultural vocational training in order to provide an impetus to include the newly developed teaching content on this topic in the national framework curricula. - To carry out awareness campaigns at national and European level to improve the image of agricultural professions
▶Impact
The digital transformation in agricultural vocational training needs modern, innovative and future-oriented solutions. The expected project results create the following milestones for this: 1. Competence catalog with extended competence profile for the agricultural and animal farmer. 2. Materials for the acquisition of professional competence - new innovative teaching, learning modules and curricula. 3. Smart learning platform (digital/virtual) for the entire agri-food value chain.
