▶Objectives
As all sectors, the sector of industrial footwear production faces the mega-trends of globalisation, digitalisation and sustainability. To react on the changes within work processes, both Initial VET and Continuous VET must be further developed. Partners of the project adapt their qualification offers to cope with these aims – without losing the sector-specific workprocess-orientation and with respect to different impact of different dimensions of the trends on different work-processes.
▶Activities
Main activities will be the development, pedagogical structuring and piloting of courses for apprentices and/or employees in industrial footwear production in Germany, Portugal and Romania, based on scientifically developed impact analyses on which of the dimensions of the trends influence which of the 18 Spheres of Activity (SoA) of the sector. The courses refer to the concrete SoA in which the participants are working, are supposed to work, or want to work.
▶Impact
1st result will be a comprehensive matrix, breaking down the impact of ~20 dimensions of the trends to the 18 SoA of the sector. 2nd result will be 12 quality-assured training manuals on how to impart the concrete impact for the SoA most concerned. 3rd result will be “strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats” (SWOT) analyses of the piloting and evaluation of 15 courses (5 in each country) that deliver the roots and content for updated IVET and CVET profiles.
