โ–ถObjectives

The primary objective of the InclusiVR@Work Project is to 'reduce the employability gap of people with disabilities in European workplaces by promoting understanding, empathy and reasonable accommodation'. We will achieve this by harnessing Virtual Reality (VR) technology to provide immersive experiences that cultivate empathy, allowing companies and HR managers to better understand the challenges faced by colleagues with disabilities and deconstruct assumptions about disability.

โ–ถActivities

The InclusiVR@Work partners will undertake the following activities: 1. Develop CPD programme for VET Professionals 2. Create three VR disability simulations for VET professionals, managers, business owners and employees addressing topics related to disability inclusion at work 3. Host 12 VET trainers at a transnational training event in Cyprus 4. Develop an eplatform where all learning materials are presented as OERs. 5. Ensure the widespread animation and mobilisation of VET and businesses

โ–ถImpact

InclusiVR@Work will develop 3 interconnected results: 1. CPD training to support 62 VET trainers to update their knowledge and pedagogic skills on using VR simulations to promote disability inclusion at work and its benefits to workplaces 2. Three new VR simulations that model sensory, physical and intellectual disabilities in order to raise awareness, encourage empathy and promote action 3. Disability Inclusion MOOC for HR Managers that includes a guide to reasonable accommodation in Europe
