Objectives

The project objective is to strengthen the role of primary school teachers in designing inclusive educational environments, exploiting the potential of Maker initiatives. To do this, the project will: - improve awareness of primary school teachers on the inclusive potential of Maker-based activities for disadvantaged students. - improve knowledge, skills and competencies of teachers on how to integrate maker-based activities to improve students’ engagement, inclusion and participation.

Activities

The project will include the following activities: 1. Production of the MAKE U IN Resource Repository through a focus group analysis in each partner country. 2. Organisation of the MAKE U IN Learning Sessions to be attended online by 10 teachers and educators in each country. 3. Organisation of the MAKE U IN Launch Conference with 70 participants in all countries.

Impact

The project will produce: - MAKE U IN Resource Repository including pedagogical approaches, and materials to assist teachers and educators in leveraging the inclusive potential of maker-based activities. - MAKE U IN Learning Sessions to improve teachers' and educators’ skills in exploiting maker-based activities to promote inclusion. - MAKE U IN Launch Conference for result promotion and community awareness on the inclusive potential of maker-based activities.
