Objectives

The project "Inclusion Through Arts" aims to use theatrical arts as an educational strategy of inclusion. The main objective consists in realizing pieces of creative art such as musicals, dramas, mime's performances, storytelling moments working on common themes with the partners and assembling different parts of the same play, created by each country in a unique one.

Activities

Year 1: Schools will introduce their traditions and culture regarding theatrical performances. Partners will also compare them. They will act a storytelling and a musical after having taken part in training courses and workshops about the use of their voice and the dance. Year 2: Teachers and students will be involved in lessons about the use of the body as an expressive mean. They will act a mime performance and a drama. Performing a drama will be the highlight of the common activities.

Impact

Using a variety of role-playing and story writing activities, students and teachers will better their attitudes of self-expression, trust, selfacceptance, acceptance of others, self-awareness and empowerment. Teachers and pupils will reach the goals enhancing their expressive skills through lessons led by specialists who will teach them how to use their voice, how to move on stage, how to dance and how to express emotions and feelings both with facial and body expressions.
