We want to foster Peer Coaching approaches in arts-based youth work, aiming also to make our societies more diversity-inclusive. We want to give young artists tools, competencies and platforms to coach others and to organise collective actions. We want to support local and international networking of young artistic coaches. We want to develop new good practices and approaches, and share the ROOTS & ROUTES Peer Coach Curriculum 2.0 with the youth work community in our cities and beyond.

We will implement a modular Peer Coach Education with local and international, presence and digital modules; with pilot activities in 7 countries: Peer Coach Academies, international LevelUp seminars and Online Trainings that prepare participants for a mentored practical field work phase, where participants will be able to gather coaching experiences in local projects and international Testing Zones, finalised with Comeback Days for reflexion and certification.

The project will train 80+ young artists to become ROOTS & ROUTES Peer Coaches, capable of doing professional or volunteer arts-based youth work activities; we expect 50+ of them to receive the certificate. Through the process they will be internationally connected and build their own support network. We aim to create new synergies between the partner organisations, to develop new good practices and to publish the resulting ROOTS & ROUTES Peer Coach Curriculum 2.0 online and printed.
