▶Objectives
Our project equips youth (social) workers with effective tools and methods for democracy education, fostering European values and social inclusion among young people especially with a migrant background. Through innovative approaches we aim to promote active European citizenship and more social and political participation for young people in a migrant society.
▶Activities
Activities include networking and collaboration activities with migrant organisations and other local community groups, workshops for youth workers and educators, experimental labs with young migrants/people, developing guidelines, (digital) learning tools and a video course for youth worker, dissemination events at local, national, and European levels and a final international event showcasing our findings.
▶Impact
We anticipate disseminating project findings, guidelines and tools widely fostering greater youth engagement, enhancing democracy education and promoting European values transfer with lasting impacts on youth work organisations on the local, regional, national and European level (“European Community of Practice”) and communities on the local level.
