Objectives

The purpose of MenHelp VYTE is to help vulnerable young people through vocational education in order to increase their well-being, reduce the number of young people without jobs and education and provide skilled labor for companies. MenHelt VYTE will thereby counter three of the biggest societal challenges in the EU: Lack of skilled labor, youth unemployment and too many vulnerable young people. The project will also build valid knowledge about how young people can be helped in education.

Activities

We are going to implement the following activities: - Competence development of local mentors - Initial dialog and alignment of expectations with the young people in the project - Agreements with preparatory training program and municipality - Agreement template for individual action plan - Initial conversations between mentors and young people

Impact

Short term expectations: - Upskilled mentors - Motivated young people - Concrete agreements to build future collaboration on In the longer term, the following results are expected: - At least twenty of the twenty-eight young people start vocational education - All of the twenty-eight young people achieve better well-being and greater clarity - The project can be scaled to more young people
