Overall objective: To foster openness and social inclusion in education and strengthen the cooperation between the educational organisations and communities and actors within rural areas. Specific objectives: To implement place-based education in local educational organisations in rural areas and create innovative learning centers to increase the capacity of collaboration between education, local community and labour marked. ▶Activities
PLASE will implement place-based education in the Adult, youth and VET education sectors. This will be realized through 4 implementation work packages. Exploring Place-based education; Educator’s continuing professional development; Implementation of PBE in student courses; Capacity building and Dissemination. The results are designed to secure the progress and support the consortium in succeeding the objectives of PLASE.
▶Impact
The results of PLASE are: Guidebook, community partnership programs, study visit, transnational and local workshops, learning materials, implementation guidelines, students experiences, community stories, capacity building materials, evaluation reports, papers, social media campaign, dissemination activities and multiplier events. All result will be available online and usable to other organisations.
