Objectives

Our project aims to bolster green empowerment in upper secondary schools to meet national and EU expectations for sustainability. We focus on strategic, competence, and learning levels, and work on integrating green skills into development plans and fostering a culture of sustainability among staff and students. The project aims to improve training on integrating green skills into teaching and school management and improve innovative ways to work with sustainability for eco-schools.

Activities

The project entails a range of activities aimed at enhancing schools’ ability to work with green skills and join international and national networks for green schools. The activities include transnational meetings, visit to policy institutions, blended learning courses, local training sessions, and dissemination events. Additionally, a collaborative effort will produce an educational platform for schools to practice green skills effectively as a school organization and join networks.

Impact

Throughout the project, organizations will engage in mutual learning, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. The ultimate outcome will be the development of an Educational Platform featuring best practice recommendations. This platform will serve as a resource for facilitating the practical application of green skills within school environments, offering examples and guides to teaching, competence and organizational levels and empower schools into a future with climate change worldwide.
