Building Autism Bridge in Pre-Primary Education

Through the AutiBridge project, we aim to enhance the skills of pre-primary educators in effectively teaching autistic pupils (or children on the autism spectrum). Our objectives include developing and disseminating specialized educational modules and a Best Practice Guide, fostering innovative teaching practices, and creating the AutiScintilla platform for continuous learning and global resource sharing, ultimately improving educational outcomes for autistic children.

In AutiBridge, we'll implement key activities: A1) Project Management led by MELETEIO, A2) Project Partners Meetings (2 in total), A3) Analysis of Autism Teaching Methods and Best Practice Guide led by M.A.M.A., A4) Creation of Educational Modules led by the Portuguese School, A5) Content Partners Meeting hosted in Latvia, A6) Creation of the AutiScintilla Open Educational Platform led by MELETEIO, and A7) Dissemination Plan, to enhance pre-primary autism education.

We expect AutiBridge to significantly uplift pre-primary autism education. Key results include enhanced educator skills through our modules and Best Practice Guide, improved teaching practices, and a supportive network via AutiScintilla. Ultimately, these will lead to more inclusive, effective classrooms, positively impacting the learning experiences of autistic pupils and setting a precedent for global education standards in this field.
