SEAQUEST aims to enhance seagrass literacy in primary education across Europe, fostering environmental stewardship and aligning with global conservation initiatives. Through research, toolkit development, teacher training, tech-based learning through an interactive game, and community engagement, it seeks to build oceanic citizenship and raise awareness about seagrasses' crucial role in marine ecosystems.
▶Activities
The SEAQUEST porject will implement the following activities: -Conduct a State-of-the-art Report on seagrass literacy, identifying gaps. -Develop the SEAQUEST Educational Toolkit, including a curriculum, guide, -Build a digital interactive game available in ad desktop, 3d tablet, VR, -Deliver blended trainings and pilot test the toolkit with teachers and students. -Disseminate project outcomes via a comprehensive plan, including policy recommendations through round tables and symposia.
