โ–ถObjectives

The SUSTAINET project aims to develop Green Business Innovation Centres (GBICs) that promote sustainable development by addressing economic, environmental, and social concerns. The project seeks to support municipalities in promoting economic growth through the development of a green economy, protecting the environment through the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies, engaging with the community to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration among stakeholders.

โ–ถImpact

The project aims to create a sustainable development and circular economy transition model for municipalities. The results include a methodology for local authorities to propose a green transition model, a self-assessment tool for municipalities, a support program for businesses to develop green strategies, a program to upgrade VET and Higher Education training and expertise, and, through GBICs, the establishment of a transnational network of local governance actors.
