Objectives

The project aims to provide an educational approach to food-waste, healthy diets and sustainable food coices thanks to the non-formal education. The goal is to raise the concern regarding food waste, promoting skills for food waste avoidance in households and increasing knowledge on how food waste is intrinsically linked to climate change. Our objective is to fill the gap of awareness concerning food waste; promote food waste avoidance skills in households.

Activities

Local testing phase: No. 5 local activity called " Engaging Youth workers in Food Waste Action ". Participants: 2 trainers and 2 youth workers and educators from participating organizations to take part in the Local Activities.. BLENDED MOBILITY - participants: no. 20 young people per partner country belonging to the category of primary target group (18-30) will be involved in the local workshops.

Impact

Training Format with tools of Non-Formal Education and guidelines for direct use by youth workers - ZERO Toolkit for young learners, covering 3 main topics: Food Waste and Climate & Environment; and Food & Health - Package of Workshops to be implemented during the Blended mobility Program - One Digital Game designed and created with the codesign methodology, covering two topics: Food Waste and Nutrition. - 1 Web Platform complying containing all the materials produced in the project
