Objectives

Through the execution of this project, the aim is to produce a school documentary, a multimedia magazine, and a training itinerary, by developing inclusive student mobilities. This will allow conveying to the rest of European school communities and societies the issue of desertification in wetlands and rivers in the southern cone of Europe. This will place students in a role as agents of change while developing their skills through collaboration with other students.

Activities

Three types of activities will be carried out. Firstly, those aimed at project coordination and project dissemination. Secondly, those aimed at student mobility to record the 4 chapters of the documentary illustrating the impact of climate change on wetlands and rivers on the Peninsula. Finally, those directed towards obtaining products (website portal, newsletter, multimedia magazine, documentary, and training itinerary for educational use).

Impact

The obtained products will include: a website portal integrating open-access products and methodologies; a documentary on the impacts of desertification in Southwest Europe; a training itinerary for classroom use and integration into the regular work of schools; a newsletter; and a multimedia magazine. Quality inclusive mobilities will be obtained, which will be narrated in the project portal's posts, allowing students to be positioned as active agents between science and society.
