Waste-Wise Schools
▶Summary
By implementing the project, our goal is to contribute to the European Union's ambitious target of reducing net greenhouse emissions by at least 55% by 2030. We aim to achieve this by promoting green consumer habits and enhanced waste management in schools. This waste-wise approach, empowered with new conscious consumption habits, will swiftly yield positive impacts across sectors, conserving energy, resources, and ecosystems, ultimately curbing greenhouse emissions effectively and promptly.

▶Activities
We will implement tailored activities to meet educators' green skill needs, offering comprehensive training and mobility opportunities. With increased awareness, we will prepare a learning material to better convey green/waste-wise teachings to the students. Students will engage in hands-on learning activities from our "Waste is Gold Activity Book". Also, prepared by the team, a "Waste-Wise Schools Guide" will aid other educational leaders in adopting waste-wise practices in schools effectively.
▶Impact
At the end of the project, all participant teachers will have a high awareness of sustainable living and a waste-wise mindset, which will help them convey these teachings to their students. Thanks to the activity book, students will acquire green consumer skills with hands-on activities. Waste-Wise Schools Guide will help other school managers on their way to sustainability. Refreshed with this international cooperation, all partners will have improved their institutional capacities by the end.
