Objectives

With this project the consortium wants to (a) deal with European labour market encounters difficulties arising from the inconsistency of certifications and specialised equipment across individual countries in electrical substations.(b) develop 3d virtual reality model of electrical substations (c) VET teachers training on virtual reality technologies, (e) VET students electrical substations training helped with virtual reality technologies.

Activities

We will perform: ● IN-DEPTH RESEARCH on needs and regulations with regards to the resulting qualification needs of teachers/trainers. ● 3D MODEL creation = Virtual Reality (VR) app for using in VR glasses as well as updating it according to piloting results ● Teachers training on VR technology with different communication and collaboration forms (on-site, remote, synchronous, and asynchronous, or for e.g. more self-directed learning). ● Students’ training program in virtual reality technologies

Impact

We expect that the project will lead to: ● An online database with the main inconsistency of certifications and specialised equipment across individual countries in electrical substations ● Virtual Reality 3D MODEL of electrical substation available for all the educational community ● VET teachers and trainers are qualified by participation in the development, testing and evaluation of the VR enriched teaching and learning scenarios ● Attracting further training staff by promotion measures
