The project seeks to enhance adult AI literacy, ensuring they can navigate the digital age with essential AI skills. We aim to deliver flexible, accessible AI education, fostering informed decision-making, ethical awareness, and adaptability in the evolving job market. The goal is to empower adults to harness AI opportunities and mitigate risks, enhancing their professional and personal lives.
▶Activities
A Curriculum and modules that provide AI literacy for adults will be developed as part of this project. These modules will be accessible on the Moodle platform, which is designed to support both synchronous and asynchronous learning. Moodle is a free, flexible, open-source LMS. Workshops and surveys will be conducted to democratically assess training needs. Pilot tests will be carried out to evaluate the outputs, and dissemination activities will be conducted to promote the project results.
▶Impact
The tangible results of the project will include an AI literacy curriculum, modules, and educational tools hosted on the Moodle LMS. There will be AI courses utilizing the project's outputs by adult education courses, adults who have increased awareness of AI's advantages and risks through course participation or via Moodle, and a society that has achieved the digital transformation required by the era.
