The eCOLAB 4.0 overall objective is to improve the quality and effectiveness of STEAM related training in the field of sustainable digital manufacturing by: - Developing and nurturing a virtual collaborative environment for STEAM students. - Connecting the FabLabs at each university as an interoperable network enabling collaboration across all segments of sustainable digital manufacturing. - Creating a joint pilot BIP on sustainable digital manufacturing with a multidisciplinary approach.

โ–ถActivities

eCOLAB 4.0 envisages the following activities: - (WP2). Collaborative working environment in sustainable digital manufacturing, where STEAM students can cooperatively work on joint projects and multidisciplinary exercises and challenges. - (WP3). Interoperable network of FabLabs for sustainable digital manufacturing, allowing the mutualisation of equipment and software. - (WP4). Pilot training (BIP) in sustainable digital manufacturing, composed of four complementary modules.

โ–ถImpact

eCOLAB 4.0 expects to achieve: - A collaborative working environment on a transnational scale in the field of sustainable digital manufacturing allowing cross-collaboration. - An interoperable network of FabLabs, including the sharing of equipment, infrastructures, and software, which will expand the possibilities for inter-university cooperation. - A pilot training programme (BIP) on sustainable digital manufacturing, developed from a multidisciplinary perspective.
