โ–ถObjectives

Against the backdrop of social exclusion, the project will study and teach how inclusive cities may promote and safeguard wellbeing equally for everyone living in urban areas. This objective will be reached through collaborative teaching and networking tasks which will focus on how to improve urban sustainable mobility, accessibility and social living, especially for disadvantaged people, thereby strengthening the bonds between the three partner Universities and making them more inclusive.

โ–ถActivities

Based on innovative blended learning, we are going to teach and train around 100 design and architecture students, with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, in how to promote and safeguard urban wellbeing in inclusive ways. Through field work, joint blended learning and design workshops, in which local stakeholders and decision makers will be actively engaged, the students will get to know how to raise the level of urban wellbeing locally and make cities more inclusive at a larger scale.

โ–ถImpact

Through our joint educational effort, we expect to publish a manual on best practices in inclusive cities and an anthology on urban wellbeing. Our teaching activities will lead to the creation of a digital platform and a joint blended learning curriculum which will be implemented during the funding period and beyond to apply for new funding. Our networking activities will result in multiactivity dissemination events which will engage relevant experts, civil society actors and the wider public.
