โ–ถObjectives

The main aim of HEALTH UP! is to provide VET trainers and VET centres with tools to understand and identify indicators of eating disorders among their students, encouraging eating disorder prevention through an early identification and the implementation in the VET centre of preventive activities that encourage healthier habits among students. It aims to educate VET teachers on eating disorders, from a formal perspective but also from a practical perspective of prevention in the classroom.

โ–ถActivities

The project will work on different areas which impact the possibility of suffering an eating disorder: mental health, nutrition, social habits and physical habits. HEALTH UP! will provide tools to introduce activities on these topics inside the classroom, but also in the daily habits of students out of the centre. The results will be tested in a European piloting to ensure its effectivity and encourage the integration in VET education.

โ–ถImpact

HEALTH UP! will develop: a guide to educate about eating disorders, from a formal point of view, with clear information and contact points at European level useful to readers. Two workshops manuals: one focused on nutrition, and one focused on mental health, social and physical activities. The workshop manuals will include activities to implement in the classroom, at home, and through an app. And the development of an app to access the content in a dynamic and user-friendly way.
