โ–ถObjectives

The objective is to promote the inclusion of older workers of three traditional sectors(footwear, toys and jewellery) in the process of updating companies through the use of innovative and sustainable techniques such as additive manufacturing in process improvement through training carried out by VET and increase the attractiveness to young people to ensure competitiveness and employment. The impact and transfer of results throughout the EU will be carried out through international network tools.

โ–ถActivities

The work plan is divided into 5 work packages (including management), involving the development of 3D printing training content and a teaching methodology. These developments will allow the implementation of short pilot training actions in 3 traditional reference sectors (footwear, toys and jewellery). The project will be implemented over 24 months and all partners will participate in the realisation of each work package. The use of an international networking observatory is also contemplated.

โ–ถImpact

The 3aDitional project proposes to develop training content and teaching methodology in additive manufacturing processes for prototyping in traditional sectors such as footwear, toys, and jewellery. This training, whose main target audience is older workers, will cover theoretical and practical concepts from the most basic knowledge to specialization by sector. This will help to re-skill them and ensure their inclusion in today's labor market. The project also focuses on young people's needs.
