▶Objectives
The project aims to: 1. Reduce the Digital Gap by improving digital skills of marginalised communities (long-term unemployed, NEET's, migrants, women in rural areas) and promoting their social and labour integration. 2. Provide innovative tools to VET educators for digital skills training and empowerment of marginalised communities 3. Contribute to the Digital Education Action Plan by enhancing digital skills and digital citizenship in identified target groups.
▶Activities
1.Training materials as permanent resources for VET (based on DigComp); a curriculum as the structured and specific proposal on how to implement them. 2. 3-level course in digital competences, for basic, intermediate and advanced levels (300h in total), scaled over time and with the possibility of joining the corresponding level of the person directly. 3.An online platform as the main support tool to implement the course, and as a resource for self-paced learning for other interested parties.
▶Impact
The project aims to create a 300-hour educational curriculum and innovative training materials that are open and flexible to different learning contexts, and to train 150 VET educators and 150 people from marginalised groups on it. This will increase access to free and open resources for VET educators and digital skills education in general. This will result in more digitally competent individuals, enhanced employment opportunities, and advanced knowledge on digital skills.
