With the project NA BISTARDE (don't forget) we want to offer real opportunities for inclusion to young roma women by promoting their active participation, empowerment and the recovery of their culture, by fighting the generational and technological gaps as well as the weakness of the oral and diverse roma culture. Currently, ignoring their history leaves the youngest roma women lost, leading them to their destruction as historical subjects and plunging them into apathy and exclusion.

With NA BISTARDE we will recover the memory of the roma woman who faced the severe challenges of the last century to promote the action and inclusion of young roma women. To achieve it, we will generate an intergenerational dialogue between young and older roma women, plus networking between 6 entities from across Europe along with training actions, video creation, inclusion activities, dissemination, visibility, and a large European meeting to recover the memory of roma women.

With the project NA BISTARDE we will develop an innovative methodology based on two lines: ‒ BANK OF MEMORIES: creating “memories” or digital resources capable of rebuilding the memory of roma women through an intergenerational dialogue between young and elderly roma. ‒ BANK OF ACTIONS: creating “actions” for the empowerment and active participation of young roma women to generate community and enhancing both their inclusion and of others.
