Objectives

WELLGEN aims to supply young people with knowledge and skills to improve their own and their peer resilience in mental health. Objectives: Equip young people aged 15-29 with knowledge and skills to identify mental health issues in themselves and their peers. Enable young people to have self-awareness and give peer help. Build youth workers’ knowledge on identification, prevention measures, and guidance to professional help. Raise awareness and fight stigmatization of mental health.

Activities

Some of the activities (but not only) that will be implemented to contribute to the objectives are: Local trainings for youth people and youth workers (based on project results) Local workshops for youth people and youth workers (based on the project results) A mobility training course for youth workers Testing and piloting sessions at local level to receive input from the target groups Transnational meetings National workshops Online and offline dissemination events

Impact

R1: An easy-to-read guidebook-for young people that will equip them with knowledge and skills to warning signs in their peers and contribute to de-stigmatization. R2: A guidebook for youth workers to build understanding and provide them with practical activities to implement in their work R3: Learning environment (eHub) with interactive gamified content, videos, articles, assessment, podcast to increase knowledge and awareness R4: Dissemination activities and tools to spread the knowledge
