โ–ถObjectives

Quantum technologies aims to be the most disruptive technology in the following decade but remains an esoteric subject largely confined to academic and research settings. QUANTUM+ aims to teach higher education students and business managers about the fundamentals and potential applications of quantum technologies. The project aims to enhance their employability but also equips them with skills crucial for future technological challenges and for the burgeoning demand in the QTs workforce.

โ–ถActivities

To achieve this objective, the project plans the following activities: 1)Definition of skills needs of the industry and academia about fundamentals and applications of quantum technologies in different sectors. 2)Development of a higher education curriculum, interactive training materials and practical programming labs integrated in an e-learning platform. 3)Deployment of a pilot test among business and scientific communities reinforced with microcredentials and strong dissemination activities.

โ–ถImpact

QUANTUM+ aims to develop a novel course for higher education, including fundamental aspects of quantum physics and computing, incorporating the direct feedback of the industry to explore potential applications of quantum technologies. The project will create practical labs of programming with simulators. It will raise awareness of the benefits of this technology among the business community to support the attractiveness of the topic and will link the different lessons with EU micro credentials.
