Objectives

We have long been concerned about the wellbeing of our vocational students. We want to integrate a focus on the health and well-being of the student. OBJECTIVE 1: Enable trainer’s to talk about well-being and health with trainees and do some health promotion OBJECTIVE 2: Enable trainees to take care of their own well-being and health, empower them to take action for their wellbeing and health OBJECTIVE 3: Mutual sharing of the best practices/approaches between teachers and trainees becaus

Activities

ACTIVITY 1: Gather information and good practices in order to create a Wellbeing Guide (activity 2) ACTIVITY 2: Creation of a Wellbeing Guide, including tips and hints for the trainers to be used in their classes. This is based on expert lectures, online videos and common research on the topic (activity 1). ACTIVITY 3: Creation of an interactive Online course for trainers, with pedagogical approach. This may include practical exercises and how-to- videos (material from activities 1 and 2)

Impact

RESULT 1: more awareness of the mental healt issues among VET teachers and staff members (Guide for the trainers) RESULT 2: hands-on –activities become a part of everyday VET education (Online course for trainers) RESULT 3: advanced wellbeing of VET students through excercises done in the classes
