The project aimed to enable deafblind adults in Catalonia to learn and apply the principles of Pro Tactile communication and begin developing a Pro Tactile Catalan language. It also sought to strengthen the capacity of deafblind trainers to deliver introductory Pro Tactile training to local communities unfamiliar with this approach. A further objective was to reinforce the organisational capacity of partner organisations to implement Erasmus+ projects at local and transnational levels, while raising awareness of Pro Tactile, deafblind professionalism and deafblind-led practices among allies, professionals and public stakeholders.
