EuroDialogue: Empowering European Youth through Simulation of European Parliament

The project aims to deepen students' comprehension of EU, democratic processes and key issues such as inclusion, climate change, and digital transformation. By engaging in simulated parliamentary debates and workshops, students will develop critical thinking skills, enhance their awareness of societal challenges, and cultivate a sense of active citizenship and cross-cultural understanding. They will improve multilingual and digital skills as they interact with their peers from all around Europe.

▶Activities
Our project activities encompass mobility exchanges, workshops, and virtual debates. Students will engage in simulated parliamentary debates, conduct research on EU-related topics, participate in cultural excursions, and teachers will collaborate on the development of guidelines and guidebook for Virtual Model European Parliament debates. These virtual and on-site activities will foster cross-cultural exchange, critical thinking, and active citizenship among participants.
▶Impact
The project aims to achieve several outcomes, including enhanced comprehension of EU institutions, improved critical thinking and communication skills among participants, promotion of European identity, promotion of European Values, and the development of the guidebook for Virtual Model European Parliament debates. Through these results, we anticipate fostering active citizenship, facilitating cross-cultural exchange, and promoting democratic participation among students and teachers.
