โ–ถObjectives

MindEd seeks to improve wellbeing on campus for both students and staff by adopting a comprehensive "whole university" approach to mental health. Our project focuses on fostering inclusivity and resilience, incorporating mental health education into academic curricula, prioritising preventive actions and expanding mental health support beyond conventional pastoral care. MindEd aims to create a supportive and holistic environment that addresses the mental health needs of the university community.

โ–ถActivities

In the MindEd project, we'll execute 4 activity-based WPs: Wellness Framework: Reviews mental health in higher education, targeting literacy, stigma, and well-being competencies. Minded Toolkit: Provides lecturers with resources to support students' mental health. AI Social Prescribing App: Connects students to well-being activities through a personalised AI app. Sharing & Sustainability: Enhances visibility and longevity of the project through strategic engagement.

โ–ถImpact

The MindEd project aims to enhance mental health support in higher education by integrating social prescribing and AI-driven tools. It equips educators and students with innovative strategies to support mental well-being, fostering a supportive academic environment that promotes resilience, inclusivity, and academic success, aligning with broader educational goals of promoting mental wellness and academic achievement across European HEIs.
