The three basic pillars of our general objective: instill in young people the civic values of knowing and safeguarding their local and rural heritage; highlight sustainable craft practices; improve resilience skills in the face of the crafts sector’s changes induced by the green transition. The project intends to involve 250 young people living in rural areas, at risk of social exclusion, organized crime or school-failure, and 170 young professionals from cultural and educational institutions.

We design non-formal and participatory educational tools and methods for youngsters to facilitate the distribution of insight and expertise of professionals in the heritage sector, generate collective, intergenerational reflections and learning. Co-creation workshops with youngsters will allow these resources to be adjusted to the target group’s real needs. They will improve socio-professional skills, raise awareness of civic values and provide training in the promotion of heritage.
