โ–ถObjectives

VR4Tโ€™s goal is to build a bridge between the educational content on VR tools and technology, and the need for new tools in training for touristic activities. It will present the tools that can make tourism more sustainable and modern. This bridge will provide a methodology that will upskill VET teachers who will train students wishing to work in the tourism sector, and to equip professionals in the tourism sector with VR-applied knowledge to use VR in their tourism service provision.

โ–ถActivities

Activities will entail a curriculum based on the training needs of VET teachers and professionals in the tourism sector, focusing on the innovative aspect of VR technology in reshaping tourism. It will be an OER and can be attended via an e- learning platform. A video will be created promoting the use of VR in VET education for tourism. VET teachers and professionals will be trained on the content of the curriculum during a training activity, and 20 VET students/country will test the OER.

โ–ถImpact

The project will have 2 results: -VR4T Curriculum will focus on the creation of educational content based on the results of the state-of-the-art research done by the partners in preparation for the project development.
