▶Objectives
The project aims to give all the beneficiaries an insight into the psychological and mental problems affecting young people, their possible causes, how to recognise them and the importance of asking for help. We aim to raise awareness of the link between physical and mental health and the role of outdoor activities in young people's well-being.Environmental issues and responsibility in protecting our planet will be considered as a means of reducing anxiety about climate and our future in general
▶Activities
The way to achieve our goals is through indoor and outdoor activities. Guided debate, expert-led small group discussion, questionnaire assessment, and art therapy sessions will be provided in-house. Among the outdoor activities, we plan adventure psychology sessions, a shared water trip and an excursion. During the four project meetings, activities will be carried out in international groups, and in the intermediate periods, in partner schools, in connection with the theme of the semester.
▶Impact
As a result of the project, students will be able to distinguish between mental health and problems, and become aware of the link between physical and mental health. They will learn to recognise situations that threaten mental health and learn to seek help for themselves or their peers. Institutions will learn about each other's mental health management strategies and develop common guidelines and a set of good practices.
