▶Objectives
The project seeks to harmonise pharmacy technician education across the 3 participating organisations/countries and Europe eventually in order to develop a standardised educational framework to ensuring consistency in educational standards, facilitating pharmacy technician students/professionals mobility, and engaging stakeholders for broader adoption. The goal is to facilitate best practice exchanges and disseminate findings to elevate the profession's training and opportunities across Europe.
▶Activities
To achieve the goals, the project will undertake a comparative analysis of existing frameworks, host transnational coordination meetings, workshops, regular update virtual meetings and create a unified educational and competencies framework for Pharmacy Technicians. It plans to engage relevant stakeholders through online workshops, maintain a project website for continuous information sharing, and disseminate outcomes through scholarly publications and conference poster/oral presentations.
▶Impact
The project anticipates establishing a harmonised educational framework that supports the mobility of pharmacy technicians across the three participating countries as well as Europe, fosters stakeholder engagement, and promotes the adoption of standardised practices. This initiative is expected to leave a lasting impact on the standardisation of pharmacy technician education and practice, ensuring consistent quality and facilitating professional opportunities.
