EU-SAFE aims at achieving the following results: - encouraging a safe use of pesticides among workers; - creating innovative VET approaches to an awareness of the safe use of chemicals within stakeholders; - developing new training experiences & a new certification to recognize skills via innovative European qualifications accredited by ABA; - implementing latest EU directives in terms of environmental protection; - promoting continuous professional development in agriculture/forestry sectors

โ–ถActivities

The project will implement the following activities in the 36-months period: - 6 transnational meetings - 5 multiplier infodays to involve stakeholders - a new certification path, available in each EU country, accredited by ABA International - a Podcast to raise awareness about pesticides impacts & EU approach - a freely-accessible KDB to VET providers & learners, to gain skills - Guidelines & Standard Setting to develop shared safe working techniques - 4 international Pilot Testing events

EU-SAFE foresees tangible and intangible results, such as: - development of common guidelines & standard setting regarding sustainable use of pesticides - development of a new certification path available in Europe to implement EU directives - increasing cooperation among EU countries to establish common policies in sustainable use of pesticides - enhancing professional development & qualifications - ultimately, a reduction of environment impacts & increased environmental awareness & protection
