Overall to upskill healthcare professional (HCP) educators to enable them to innovate HCP programmes to incorporate nutrition education: - Identify the depth and breadth of nutrition knowledge currently taught on HCP degree programmes - Establish HCP’s current nutrition knowledge and level of importance placed on nutrition in healthcare - Develop a training guide for HCP educators to upskill on nutrition - Develop a micro credential for HCP educators to utilise to upskill learners in nutrition
▶Activities
Project activities will include a range of research activities i.e, data analysis, focus groups, surveys, publications, infographics together with training and promotional events with the target audience HCPs, HCP educators, and wider stakeholder groups to increase awareness and ensure knowledge transfer 5 Think Tanks: Physical events with wider stakeholder groups 1 LTTA: Learning, teaching, training activity 5 TNMs: Meetings for project management & communication 3Es: Dissemination events

Proposed results will include: -Research Report on the extent of nutrition education currently incorporated in HCP education across partner countries -Infographics on HCPs’ current knowledge and understanding of nutrition in healthcare -Think Tank analysis -Digital posters -Training guide for HCP educators on curricula development -Micro-credential course structure and resources -Best practice and learnings from teaching and learning activities
