Objectives

To raise awareness against food waste for a Sustainable World, to increase individual awareness among schools, participating teachers and students in the integration of green skills into different courses from various fields, and to provide students with the skills of recycling, upcycling and reusing food from their own perspectives through transnational practices, and to develop responsible attitudes towards the environment, developing core competencies among participating teachers and students

Activities

Activities will be carried out in the countries participating in the project, depending on the objectives of the project. Additionally, the events will be supported by seminars and local participant studies. During the project, workshops and institutional visits for observation purposes will be held in all schools on the subjects of food-waste-environment-climate-energy-recycling, in which students are active, and concrete outputs will be obtained through dissemination activities.

Impact

Concrete results; - composted fertilizer - environmentally friendly biogas - an awareness campaign on the importance of recycling/reducing/reusing - good farming garden - a digital and printed book -food piggy banks intangible results, -developing green skills by participating in interdisciplinary Sustainable Food activities in classrooms and outdoors -learning about 3Rs. - developing environmentally friendly behaviors - awareness against food waste - food and nutrition literacy
