▶Objectives
Through the use of vertical farming and aquaponics, the AQUA project's primary goals are: - to promote sustainable farming methods, vocational education, and training. - to empower regional farming communities in difficult environments by offering vocational training in environmentally friendly farming methods. - introduce the idea of aquaponics to VET schools and young farmers
▶Activities
The AQUA project will carry out tasks by: 1. creating a thorough Manual with Modules. 2. holding workshops and giving practical instruction in aquaponics and vertical farming to young participants. 3. designing Sustainable Farming Demonstration Sites which will serve as models for efficient and eco-friendly agriculture. Also, with monthly virtual meetings, 1 face to face Meeting, 8 Newsletters, 4 local piloting trainings, +25 Youthpasses and National Cerificates, Social media pages
▶Impact
We expect AQUA to yield positive results, including equipped participants with knowledge and skills in sustainable farming. The cross-cultural collaboration will foster knowledge exchange and best practices sharing and empower local farming communities through innovative techniques. This will lead to enhanced food production and self-sufficiency in challenging farming conditions.
