▶Objectives
The main objective of AURALIZE is to provide innovative vocational training in room acoustics and auralization to a wide array of attendees studying or working in disciplines such as architecture, theatre, music, sound engineering, acoustics and applied acoustics, media technology, computer science, web industry, and other immersive technologies. The project will contribute to the innovation of sonic quality and sonic thinking in our digital future and current quality of communication.
▶Activities
Within the project, we will develop and implement an innovative vocational training course in room acoustics and auralization for audio professionals and students, which will improve their knowledge and skills in management of acoustic and sound digitalization. A practical study of acoustic in Croatian and Italian theatre will lead to larger-scale comparative analysis between various theatres. It will contribute to the broader academic knowledge of theatre and heritage acoustics.
▶Impact
Based on proposed activities the expected project results will be improved professional skills and understanding of room acoustics and auralization of audio professionals and students. By teaching the concepts of auralization, the project is expected to contribute to improved digital capacity of course participants. Combining theory and practice and applying blended implementation of the training,we expect to contribute to innovation, inclusion and diversity in vocational education and training
