▶Objectives
The project seeks to introduce innovative approaches to the field of restorative justice practices by developing effective training methods. The project will collect current methodologies used by organisations in this field and exchange best practices to create a set of widely-referenced techniques for those who look to utilise restorative justice as a tool for mediation in various fields.
▶Activities
After defining the project management plan, the partners will collaborate to create a digital questionnaire for mapping existing restorative justice practices in Europe. Thanks to the analysis results, specific thematic priorities will be identified in order to organise training activities. Additionally, discussion tables will be organised to share good practices that have emerged from the activities. Finally, measures to communicate and disseminate the results will be implemented.
▶Impact
ROUTE will deliver the following project outcomes: two training sessions for local trainers from the project partners’ organisations (besides ALDA) local training activities in each partner country (besides ALDA) development of an e-toolkit collection of good practices for future implementation as a result of participatory round tables definition of restorative justice protocols that will constitute the knowledge base for the transferability of the results beyond the duration of the project
