FARM’IN - INCLUSION THROUGH SOCIAL FARMING
▶Objectives
The general objective of the “FARM’IN, Inclusion through social farming” project is to support the professional development of people, contributing to social inclusion, sustainability and innovation. The specific objective is to improve the innovation and quality of the social farming VET system, through an innovative VET model, linked to social inclusion and sustainability and addressed to trainers and operators active in the sector, in Italy,Slovenia and Greece.
▶Activities
The project foresees the development of methodologies and tools and creation of social farming pilot courses for trainers and operators; the implementation of the pilot course for trainers in Italy, with trainers from Greece and Slovenia and the development of a quality certification of the competencies; the implementation of the pilot course for operators in Italy, Greece, Slovenia and the development of a quality certification of the competencies; management and validation of the results.
▶Impact
The project intends to achieve the following results in Italy, Slovenia and Greece: - Increasing and improving the skills and knowledge of trainers and operators active in the field of social farming - Increase the innovation and quality of training in the field of social farming - Increase in the level of social inclusion and sustainable practices in public and private, profit and non-profit organisations active in the field of agriculture.
